USPS Lost My Package?

USPS Lost my package?

The USPS lost my package or send it to the wrong house. The package wasn't insured, but it was sent using priority mail, had a tracking number, and payed for with a COD. What can I do to get my money back for the item?

I have found the only effective way of dealing with USPS is to call them and yell at them to the point where they get so fed up that they will refund your money. I would suggest calling their 1800 number (i dont know it, but you can check www.usps.com, they will). They can give you the phone number of the local office that was responsible for your package.
Most importantly, don't take no for an answer no matter what excuses they give you!! It is possible to get a refund, but at least in my area, they're not very nice about it.

You can file a missing package report with the post office. They will search for your package and if it is found they will return it to you. Since the package was not insured you will not get any money back for the postage or the actual merchandise if the package can not be located.
